Paradisus by Meliá Gran Canaria, an all-inclusive paradise
We recently enjoyed a stay at the stylish luxury hotel Paradisus by Meliá Gran Canaria. The brand new, all-inclusive resort is located in the tranquil town of San Augustin, just a short distance from bustling Maspalomas. At the end of our stay, we had just one regret: that we had only been there for 5 days.
We booked a room in The Reserve, the adults-only section of the hotel, and were offered exclusive check-in and concierge services in an elegant private lounge. Reserve guests also enjoy breakfast in a separate lush dining area and have access to a private swimming pool with excellent snacks and drinks available throughout the day.

The jewel in the crown is Peseta, the adults-only gourmet restaurant with signature dishes from Canary Islands' top chef, Germán Ortega.
The interior design of the hotel is in perfect harmony with the natural beauty of the island. Large open spaces are decorated with contemporary furniture, works by local artisans and natural vegetation. The various shades of beige and the warmth of natural wood give the hotel an ambience of elegance and sophistication.
The tropical garden with swaying palm trees, fragrant flowers and immaculately manicured lawns completes the sense of harmony and relaxation.
As guests of The Reserve, we enjoyed a magnificent view of the ocean from our spacious room on the top floor. The interior of the room has the same contemporary and open design as the common areas. The king-size bed is extremely comfortable, and the bathroom features high-quality amenities, including fresh aloe vera. A spacious wardrobe, a well-stocked mini-bar and a large furnished terrace are just some of the other luxuries of the hotel.
